The Story Underneath

The Story Underneath is my flagship theatre lab. It is not a lecture series. It is a small theatre where we bring real stories onstage and learn to see the invisible cast directing them.

The Signature Experience

The Studio Ceremony

In ancient Greek theater, the chorus witnessed what the protagonist couldn't yet name about themselves.
We are rebuilding the chorus with AI. Your live Studio Notebook already reflects your own words back, and the full ceremony is facilitated during your cohort.

Step 01
You submit your material
Your story. Your scene. Your turning point. Written, rough, unfinished. Real.
Step 02
The Notebook witnesses it
The Studio Notebook reads across your own sources and names the patterns, images, and questions that repeat. It takes your work seriously.
Step 03
You sit and listen
You hear your story in third person. You witness yourself being witnessed.
Step 04
Facilitation, live in your cohort
April facilitates what surfaces: what do we hear, how does it feel. A graphic arc map of your passage is rolling out during your cohort.
