The Corner of Chaos · Theatre 3

Creative Sanctuary

Creative Sanctuary is a quiet theatre for artists, writers, and makers who need a room to create without performance pressure. It is not a productivity bootcamp. It is a sanctuary stage where your creative work is allowed to arrive as it is.

A show does not get a curtain time until it has a cast. Your cohort begins when the cast is full. You will receive your curtain date by email, with a pick between two performance times.

People don't struggle to create because they lack skill.

They struggle because they don't feel safe being seen. Because they're overcorrecting before they even begin. Because somewhere along the way they learned to judge faster than they express.

The problem isn't the blank page. It's what happens in the body before anyone ever reaches it.

What Makes This Different

The 5 Elements of the Sanctuary

01
Brave Space
No one is interrupted, fixed, or analyzed without consent. People share at their own edge.
02
Permission to Be Unpolished
Messy drafts are expected. Not "bring your best work," but "bring what's real."
03
Witnessing > Feedback
Being witnessed builds voice faster than correction.
04
Gentle Structure
A prompt, a container, a flow. Held without being controlled.
05
Return
People come back because they felt something open, weren't shut down, weren't invisible.

How You Participate

Two Paths

Cohort

Live Sanctuary

Weekly live sessions with real-time witnessing. You share in a room of people who are also practicing. Final showcase option for those who want it.

Independent

Open Sanctuary

Prompt drops, community sharing, recorded participation. Same prompts, same container, on your own schedule.

The Practice

The Witnessing Framework

Participants respond only with:

"I heard…"
"I felt…"
"This stayed with me…"

No advice. No critique. No fixing. Unless explicitly invited.

“People won't say 'I took a writing class.'
They'll say 'I found a place where I could finally speak.'”
